Moss End Garden Centre’s Pet Care Department doesn’t sell animals, but does stock pretty much everything the pet owner will need to feed and care for their best friends.
We prioritise quality and value for money, and there are always lots of deals and special offers in store, as well as a massive range of products from the basic care requirements to the unusual and innovative, all designed to make sure that pets and their owners enjoy the lives they share.
We stock all leading brands of dog and cat food, including Royal Canin, James Wellbeloved, Pedigree, Arden Grange, Hills, Iams/Eukanuba and Pro Plan. This is complemented by a comprehensive range of accessories, healthcare products, pet beds, toys and treats.
The needs of rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Rats, Hamsters and other small furry friends are amply met with food ranges including Beaphar Care Plus, Burgess and Supreme, with a comprehensive range of bedding, treats and therapeutic products. We specialise in ethical and natural ranges, including Oxbow’s Western Timothy and other specialist hays, and the Vitakraft range.
Wild Bird Care
In this part of the country, wild birds rely on year-round supplementary feeding for their survival, and Moss End Garden Centre carries a range of wild bird foods and feeders to cater for all local species. Ranges available include RSPB, CJ Wildbird Foods, Chapelwood and Gardman. Products stocked include species-specific foods, as well as nest boxes, feeders, suet treats and supplements, as well as bird tables, bird baths and more. We also stock food for garden wildlife including hedgehogs, badgers, foxes and squirrels, although paradoxically, we also stock squirrel-proof feeders!
Home Poultry Keeping
With many people now keeping a few hens in their gardens, and sometimes even a small flock of poultry, Moss End Garden Centre has expanded the products available to feed and care for chickens, bantams and ducks. We stock poultry corn, layers mash and pellets, as well as chick crumbs and growers pellets, and the specialist Smallholder range for Ex-Battery hens. We also stock a range of poultry feeders and drinkers, and poultry healthcare preparations.
